City Navigator North America 2009 problem?
I bought and downloaded the City Navigator North America 2009 for my Garmin 200w. It downloaded, but just after that said there is not enough free space on your Garmin GPS. You need an additional 38 MB on your GPS for the application to continue. What could be the problem?
The GPS receiver does have limited memory. I'm not sure how much. There is an SD slot in the GPS receiver. You should buy a big enough SD card (2 GB should be enough) and have City Navigator maps sent to the SD card. The remaining memory in the GPS receiver is actually a favorite of charge and points of interest. There really is not enough space for much map data on it, so the SD slot should be used.
